BRIEF
INTRODUCTION
The Institute of Architectural History and Theory at Southeast University primarily focuses on architectural history and theory discipline, operating under the leadership of the School of Architecture. This discipline is a state-level key discipline founded by renowned scholars and educators Liu Dunzhen, Tong Jun, and Yang Tingbao. Since the 1980s, under the leadership of Professors Pan Guxi, Guo Husheng, Liu Xianjue, Zhu Guangya, and Chen Wei, the institute has continued to develop, achieving fruitful results and maintaining a leading position in China. Since 2017, four main research directions have been established: (1) Architectural History; (2) Architectural Theory; (3) Heritage Conservation; (4) Asian Architecture.
